Borrowed

breathofgod

Did you know the breath you just involuntarily took, is borrowed? It’s not originally yours.

Sure, it’s your brain and your organ and the two worked together to take that vitally necessary breath. But that oxygen intake and carbon dioxide you expelled? Not yours.

“Then the Lord God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.” Genesis 2:7

Every breath of yours is technically in the hands of God. (Job 12:10, Dan. 5:23) It’s described that in our flesh, exists the breath of life. (Gen. 6:17)

He decides when they begin and when they end.

How amazing!

Friend, your breath defines your purpose here on earth; God’s purpose through you!

This season and going forward, let’s encourage each other to use our borrowed breath to bless others with generous amounts of grace and love!
